·         Ms Maya KU, Senior Relationship Manager and Branch in Charge, Emkay Global Financial Services Limited Mangalore addressed the Final Year students on “The Indian Stock Market – A Way of Investment on January 17, 2015.

·         Four students participated in the National UGC Sponsored Conference on Gender Issues on Campus and in Society at Canara College, Mangalore and Mohammed Nawaf, student of Final Year BA, presented a paper on “Educational Status of Muslim Women – A case study in Bantwal Taluk”on 23rd &24th January 2015.

·         Six students participated in the National Conference on Ancient Indian Political Thought organised by St Agnes College,  Mangalore on 27  &28 February 2015.The students had One on one discussion with the former Governor and Chief Justice Haryana-Punjab High Court.

·         Two students participated in One day National Workshop on Health Economics – Issues and Reforms organized by St Aloysius College, Mangalore on February 28, 2015.

·         Guest Lecture was organised for the second year students of the forum on “How to identify a research problem” on February 27&March 6, 2015.

·         Eleven students participated in the inter-collegiate level panel discussion on “Union Budget – 2015” on March 04 , 2015 at Besant Women’s College.

·         In collaboration with the department of Psychology and English celebrated International Women’s Day. Students enacted 5 women achievers of India encompassing various fields. Dr Olinda Pereira released the book Women and Health Edited by Dr Malini Mukund, Former Head of the Department of Sociology, School of Social Work on March 10, 2015

·         In collaboration with the Rural Development Forum and Crimino-Vision organized an Anti-Pollution Awareness programme facilitated by Anti-Pollution Drive (APD)   
 members comprising of doctors, architects and builders on Tuesday, 21st July, 2015.  
 The session ended with the “I Pledge” signature campaign.

·         A field visit to the wholesale and retail markets to get first hand information and collect prices of the goods which are more representative in the computation of Index Numbers was organized on July 07 and August 07, 2015.          

·         An Interclass collage competition on “Money – Master or Slave” was organized on July 24, 2015.

·         Buzz session- a peer group interaction served as a platform to generate ideas for  Forum activities on   July 27, 2015.

·         “METAMORPHOSIS” an inter-class competition was organized. Five teams participated and exhibited the socio-economic and cultural transition of human society on August 8,2015.

·         An inter-class Brand Equity quiz competition was organized comprising audio-video segments on the theme “Advertisement and Marketing” on August 8,2015.

·         To get first hand information on banking and the advancement made in the banking sector , II year students visited Canara Bank , Vijaya Bank on  August 21 , 2015.

·          In collaboration with Inchara foundation, first anniversary of Project Angel was celebrated on September 16, 2015– An initiative for prevention of child sexual abuse, a massive human chain of safety circle was formed in 21 places in the city of Mangalore by students of various schools and colleges. Students from more than 40 schools participated in the programme. The students of Roshni Nilaya were the volunteers responsible for the safety circle managing the huge number of students.  The campaign was organized in collaboration with many organizations along with the DK District administration.

·         Guest Lecture on “Individual Completeness” by Ms Anuradha Shetty ,  Department of  Rural Development for the III year students on November 24, 2015.

A Field Visit to CPCRI , Kasaragod for III year students was organized on December 10, 2015.
