Thirty Two Second Year BSW students, accompanied by Ms. Veena B. K and Ms. Anusuya Shenoy participated in a study tour to Mysore from 27th November to 1st December 2019. They visited the following Non-Government organizations and Welfare Centres:
- Swastha, Centre for Special Education and Rehabilitation
- Sneha Kiran of Mysore Spastic Society
- Ranga Rao Memorial School for Disabled
- Chiguru Jana Seva Trust ® Shelter for Mentally ill Women
- Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement.
Apart from social work organizations, the students had an opportunity to visit the historical and sightseeing spots like Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, St. Philomena Church, Tippu Summer Palace, Nimishambha Devi Temple, Bird Watching Point and KRS Dam and so on.
