Rural Sports meet 2017 (Grameena Kreede) was organized in Debbeli, Harekala Gram Panchayat in collaboration with Grameen Abhivrudhi Prathishtana.

No. of Participants: All UG students (250)

Objectives:

• To gain an insight into Rural Sports and activities, various unique events like race, relay, tug of war, Scorpio race, piggy back ride, riding on areca leaf, making flower garlands, coconut leaf weaving, broom sticks making and quiz on rural sports and culture were organized.
• Students to learn and understand the life and culture of rural areas
• To understand the significance of preserving of rural sports and tradition.

Outcomes:

• Students gained knowledge and awareness on rural life, culture, traditional rural sports and other activities.
