Joining the international campaign of 16 days of activism (25 November- 10 December, 2018), and to mark the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Department of Psychology organized a campaign against gender based violence on 5th December, 2018 in the College Auditorium.

Leoni Allewell and Sofia Hellenthal hailing from Germany backed by the International campaign of the United Nations conducted an open forum discussion where charts were displayed in connection with human rights, pictures were posted on social media and pamphlets were handed over on Gender Violence in India. Handprints of the color purple signifying feminism were imprinted over a white sheet.
