The students of IInd and IIIrd B.A. accompanied by faculties went on a study tour from 12th to 14th of January 2018. The tour was organized by the Department of Criminology.
The students had an opportunity to visit the Prison Training Institute, Mysuru, after which they had an opportunity to visit and interact with the inmates of Central Prison Mysuru.
The students interacted with police personnel, visited the Forensic Department, the Mock Court, Weapon Museum and the library of Karnataka Police Academy. This was followed by a visit to the Mounted Police Company And The Dog Squad. The students then went sight seeing on the Chamundi hills and also went to the Chamundeshwari Temple.
The Mysuru Palace was explored by the students, after which they had an interaction with IGP of Southern Range, Mysuru, Mr. Vipul Kumar. The tour ended with a visit to Lalit Mahal Palace.
