Department of Criminology in collaboration Childline and Leo Club Roshni Balmatta had organized a ‘Child Helpline Awareness program’ and it was flagged off at the DC office where students of I & II BA from School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya participated in the marathon from the DC office to Town Hall on 17th May 2022 at 9.00 A.M. The students also put up a street play to bring awareness among children with regard to sexual abuses and harassment. They demonstrated good and bad touches.

Students who participated in the street play were Naomi brank , Nikita D’sa , Sheeja Fathim , Srijan, Fathima Samreen , Swathi Shajil, Vinson Braganza , Kadija Hiba , Aishwarya Rao , Shetty Nidhi Gopal, Niharika Shetty , Megan Marina Lopes , Aysha Shahama , Abhi Rego and Vedika Somaiah of II BA.

The students performed before the marathon was flagged off. Later the DC addressed the gathering at the Town Hall.

Other sponsors like Royal Enfield and Mahindra too were a part of the rally.
