The Department of Criminology organised a session on 'Digital Forensic' on 8th January 2022 for the students of 1st BA Criminology. The students were upskilled in the cyber crime knowledge by a well known Certified Ethical Hacker, Samrath Bhaskar Bhat.

Mr. Bhat is the youngest ethical hackers in India by Prevoyance Forensic Technologies, Maharashtra and is the youngest Court appointed “Commissioner” (By several trial courts of India) for expert witness in Cyber Forensics Domain.

Selected to NSD (National Security Database) examination for the recruitment at PMO (prime minister office). He is also the Instructor at Prevoyance Forensic Technologies at, Maharashtra.



Chief proctor for Welspun technologies from EC-council at Noida. He is appointed as president of Indian Cyber Army for Karnataka unit, Cyber security consultant to Indian Air Force unit at Nagpur and Cyber consultant to Chhattisgarh police department. GIAC Certified Web Application Defender (Analyst Number: 96), SANS Lethal Forensicator coin holder , Qualys Guard Certified Specialist, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker v6) ,NIIT Certified .NET Application Developer ,SANS CTF Winner for Network Pen testing, Web App Pen testing.

He introduced the students to cyber crime and evils of cyber space, digital forensics, cyber forensics, their benefits and the role of specialists in this occupation in preventing crime and bringing justice to victims of cyber space. The total strength of the participants were 41.
