As a part of Crime prevention Month, Eighteen students of Criminology, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya along with the help of the Mangalore Police Department reached out to the public by performing street plays at various locations like the Service Bus stop in Hampankatta, Forum Fiza Mall located in Pandeshwar, the KSRTC Bus Stop and Bharath Mall in Lalbagh on 20th December 2021.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Students performed a Street Play depicting various types of crime such as  Harassment in public transport, Drug abuse and effects of drug, chain snatching, fake policing, Eve teasing, the evils of the Cyber space and lastly the outcome of rash and negligent driving. The team also notified the general public on how to prevent such mishaps in the society and how to protect oneself from such evils.

The team concluded the play by imparting an effective collection of quotes which went hand in hand with the whole concept of the play. The street play was tremendously appreciated by Police officials and the general public.
