The Department of Criminology organized a ‘Forensic Science Exhibition’ for students of Norway on 12th September 2019. They were explained about various fields of forensic science.The students were taken to a simulated crime scene and were explained about the procedure of inspection, investigation, collection of evidence and reconstruction of crime scene. Practical demonstration on recording, developing and lifting of fingerprints from the simulated evidence found in the crime scene was provided to the students. Ballistics, fibres, question documents, hair, toxicology, blood, forensic anthropology, odontology, forensic photography, paint, tyre marks, footprints, cyber forensics and forensic psychology were few of the branches which were discussed.
