Many buses indulge in reckless honking using Shrill horns which not only causes noise pollution, but hurts eardrums, increases heart rate, causes stress and adds to traffic chaos. On the occasion of 32nd National Road Safety Month Under-Graduate students of Criminology volunteered in bringing awareness among bus drivers about shrill horns by blowing the trumpets to make them realize about noise pollution created by these horns and how this sound disturbs the General Public. This programme was organised by D.K. Bus Owens Association with Mangaluru Traffic East and West Traffic Police Station on 22nd Jan 2021.
