A One month learner's training was given to the M.Ed teacher's of St. Ann's College at School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya from the 3rd to the 25th of September 2019.

Teacher trainees of M.Ed of St.Ann’s Educational Institute were offered an Open Elective Paper- Procedure of Investigation in which students gained knowledge on the procedure of Summoning, Warrant of Arrest, Search and Seizure of Property ,Procedure of retrieval of stolen property from the Court/Law enforcing agencies , functions and      Special units of Police, Recruitment of Police officers, Police procedure of investigation and collection of scientific evidences,Cyber crime and its prevention. This educative training enabled them to receive exposure in various branches of Forensic Science such as Ballistics, Tool marks, Hairs, Toxicology, Anthropology,Footprints, Questioned documents, Fibres, Cyber crime, Odontology and so on. A practical demonstration of developing Finger prints was also manifested.The trainees learnt how to examine a  simulated crime scene and the  reconstruction  of the same.As a field exposure they were taken to City Arms Reserve, Pandeshwar Mangaluru where they exposed to Armoury Unit, Anti Sabotage Wing and Dog Squad.
