The Faculty and Student Volunteers of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore (Disaster Management Cell) along with the Staff Volunteers of Deeksha Trust and Govindadhana Shikhana Sadhana Trust had assessed different villages  which were affected by the floods namely Manughothi village, Honaga and Benhalli in Belgaum Taluk and Singlapur Bangle and Loolasur in Gokak Taluk from the 2nd of September 2019.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Among these villages the volunteers found Singlapur Bangle most affected among these assessed villages.The team has therefore decided  to distribute the relief materials to the people of Singlapur Bangle Village.The village has approximately 110 houses. All the houses were affected by the flood out of which 45 houses collapsed.The relief material has been transferred from Gandhighar to Singlapur Bangle Anganwadi .The distribution of the relief materials will start at 7 pm to 8 pm on 03-09-2019 after distributing coupons to the people through home visits.
