A Programme on “Parthenium Awareness” was organised by ICAR Krishi Vigyan Kendra, (D.K), Kannkanady, Mangalore at School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, Valencia on the 19th August 2019. Scientist from ICAR KVK Kankanady (D.K) Dr. Mallikarjuna L. informed the gathering on the harmful effects of Parthenium weed plant on human health, agriculture productivity and quality of animal’s milk. He also requested the gathering to join their hands and work towards the complete eradication of the Parthenium Weed plant from the state and the country. Dr, Rashmi R. Scientist (Horticulture) Krishi Vigyan Kendra (D.K), Dr. Hanumanthappa D, Ms. Sowmya D.K, Ms. Deepa, Mr. Ashwith, Mr. Somashekaraih, Ms. Vijetha, Ms.Vidyavathi and the faculty of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya participated in this programme.
