Students of M.S.W had a session on Entrepreneurship skill Development and livelihood on 15th January 2019 at Seminar Hall, School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, conducted by Disha Entrepreneurship Training Centre, Mangalore which conducts the training on entrepreneurship in collaboration with the state government. The session was concentrated on creating awareness among students regarding the importance of entrepreneurship for our present economy and society, the process of starting a business, the need for start-ups etc. The volunteers of Disha Training Centre Mr.Sathish Maben and Mr Vinayak Prabhu addressed the students on the topic. They also informed the students regarding various government schemes, departments and initiatives taken by the government to support entrepreneurs and start-ups.

The session was interactive and was very informative. The session was very useful for the students to understand the importance of entrepreneurship for employment generation, especially at the present time of increasing unemployment in the country.
