The Street Play titled "Netra daana maha daana" was performed by the 1st year MSW students of School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru at Someshwara Community on April 13, 2018.
The Play included awareness songs regarding unity and integrity, cooperative living and the need for giving.

Students enacted a short skit based on the theme which reflected on the feelings of a visually challenged and her desire for self dependency.
It also stressed on,
Why there is a need for eye donation? Who can donate their eyes?
Where and how to pledge?
How family can go about eye donation of deceased?
Toll free number (1919)for any information regarding eye donation and many more.
Mr. Rohith Sanctus, the Director of Paschim Re-hab, Someshwara spoke few words on the topic as a reflection of the street play.
There was good response by the community and the programme was successful.
