A special session was organised for the MSW students on 9th June,2022 by the INCHARA Foundation, a Mangalore based Non-Profit organization started by young professionals to provide a safe and healthy ecosystem for holistic care and protection for children with the assistance of the existing or innovative mechanisms within the society along with the involvement of direct and indirect stakeholders present in our society. The session began at 9.30 am where in Student Welfare Officer Ms. Jinsa Joseph introduced the resource persons to the class. The participants included 60 MSW students and 10 MSc Counselling students .The student Social Worker Ms.Arunima rendered the welcome to Mr.Yogesh and Ms. Athina the members of INCHARA Foundation.

Ms.Athina addressing the MSW Students gave a simple yet profound understanding though a presentation mode on Cyber Crime issues such as Cyber bullying,Cyber Grooming, and Plagiarism.INCHARA Foundation members Mr.Yogesh along with Ms.Athina spoke and clarified to the students on our role as social workers in helping the school students and giving them the awareness as well as enabling them to be alert on the issues while handling social media. Ms. Athina encouraged the students to be partners in this mission of giving awareness campaign among the school students .The students did have a unique learning and they did enquire their doubts in joing INCHARA for this campaign with the school children. The session ended with a vote of thanks by the student social worker Ms.Richel.
