Ms.Jovina Priyanka Madtha, Mergers and Acquisition expert, from United Health Care, a health Insurance Company operating across the globe, addressed the trainee of PM&IR of School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, on 18th February 2019. She shared her work experience of handling merger and acquisition projects and she explained the concept and meaning of merger and acquisition with real life examples.
Trainees got an insight regarding the negatives and positives of merger and acquisition. The session also helped the trainees to understand the difficulties included in merging and acquiring the companies, the role of HR in Merger and Acquisitions and the importance of economics and financial knowledge in the HR profession.
