A session on Talent Management and Data Privacy was organized by HR Forum in association with IQAC, for II MSW (PM&IR) students on 13th March 2023,at 9:30am. Mrs Guna Sujesh Head-Service Excellence at Aditya Birla Group was the resource person. The objective of the first session was to orient students about Talent Management.Mrs Guna gave a detailed talk on Talent Management, outlining the employee life cycle from hire till retirement.The speaker also spoke about various strategies used for Talent Management.Further the speaker discussed the difference between performance assessment and potential assessment. Despite giving excellent performance, an employee might not have the potential to handle a bigger role. The speaker concluded the session by stating how presence of mind, common sense and integrity is essential for an HR professional.

The second session began at 12pm on "Data Privacy". The objective of the session was to orient students towards data privacy,to understand the concept of data privacy. Importance of data privacy, laws in data privacy in corporate setup and basics about data privacy was told with examples. After the session the questions were raised by students to clarify the doubts. The session concluded at 1pm with a vote of thanks. A total of 27 students participated in the sessions.
