The PM IR Specilisation, as part of their Personal and Professional Development Conducted a workshop on POSH Act on  22 nd October 2019, Tuesday at  Maria Paiva Hall,  School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya .
 
All the students of II Msw (PM & IR) Department conducted a presentation on the topic - The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace ( prevention,  prohibition and redressal)  Act,  2013.

All the Post-Graduate students of various departments were present for the presentation.  The students of PM& IR explained about the POSH Act, the history behind the Act , Preamble of the Act,  understanding the basic concepts such as sexual harassment,  workplace and aggrieved women,  prevention and prohibition and the employers suitors and responsibilities. A short role play was enacted by the students of PM & IR (MSW) department,  a brief explanation of ICC and LCC was explained,  redressal of complaint mechanism was elaborated and the session was concluded with a Question answer round.
