The session started with a small brain stimulating exercise. Students were taught the importance of bonding from the conception that is how bonding helps an individual to grow up as a child. Soon after birth, a child should have a strong bond with his/her mother where he/she gets in contact with skin to skin, which makes the baby feel safe as in the mother’s womb. Students were also introduced to the stages to mother-child relationship.

The participants were taught the difference between thought, feelings, emotions, sentiments, mood and instincts, gained knowledge about how the infants remain in their emotions through different motor activities. Followed by six basic primary emotions, dealing with the three major instincts that an individual use as a defence mechanism. The group gained knowledge about how primal pain is caused and the indicators to identify primal pain.

A short trip to Madurai  Meenakshi temple, which is known for its Dravidian architecture post noon was a treat for our eyes and fun filled picnic and shopping.
