The department of M.Sc Counseling organized a workshop on Emotional Freedom Techniques on 2.12.2022 at Don Bosco training centre for counseling and psychotherapy, Trivandrum. The resource Person was Rev. Fr K.C. Thomas SDB, certified practitioner of Emotional Freedom techniques and Holotropic Breathwork and Grof Transpersonal Training in India and Sri Lanka. The participants constituted 40 students of M.Sc. Counseling.

The objective of the session was to impart knowledge to identify the cause of ALL negative emotions and the resulting disruption in the body’s energy system and to acquire the skills to use techniques to deal with the emotions that cause disruption in the system. The participants were given training to work on the intense emotions and pains using various EFT techniques. The entire session was well appreciated by the participants and many expressed it as an amazing learning experience which they would look forward to participate in future.
