4 students of 2nd Year MSc Counselling conducted a session on Self-Awareness, through the Person Centred Approach for 24 members of Jeevadhan charitable Trust for AIDS and HIV on the 8th of December 2019,. The aim of the session was to enhance Self-Awareness by assessing the level of Self-Awareness, meaning and importance of self- awareness, to help the members understand their real and ideal self and teach them techniques to enhance their self- awareness and Techniques for personal growth and development.

The children were divided into two groups and the facilitators guided them throughout the process to identify and express their real and ideal self with various exercises and activities, the children were able to understand the concept and enjoyed the essence of the content and kept themselves lively.

Outcome of the session was that the children developed the importance of self- awareness and why it was important through their sharing of experiences and they also learnt the personal development qualities along with understanding their real self from their ideal self. They shared that they would continue practicing the skills they learnt in the days to come.
