Forensis Forum of the Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science had organised a ‘Brainstorming Group activity’ – a skill enhancement program held on 14th October 2022 at 3pm for the first and second year students of the department. The main objective of this activity was to enhance the problem solving and logical reasoning skills of the students. It was conducted to encourage them to think collectively in a broader perspective and to develop team spirit.

The students were divided into 5 groups involving both first and second years equally. The activity consisted of Four rounds which included quiz on general knowledge, guessing the word from pictures, riddles and solving crime mystery cases. Each round had a time limit within which the students had to answer. The group with the lowest marks in each round was eliminated. In case of the tie between the group, a tie breaker question was asked to qualify the group.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The first place was won by Group No.5 and were rewarded for the team participation. The competition concluded successfully at 4pm. The competition was held under the guidance of Dr. Saritha D’Souza, Head of the Department and Mr. Niketh P S, Faculty co-ordinator of Forensis Forum. The office bearers of Forensis Forum Ms. Aarathi Matcha, President, Ms. Likhitha, Secretory, Ms. Santhi Anusha, Treasurer, Ms. Nisha D’Souza, Class Representative of Questioned Document and Impression Evidences and Ms. Siri Kamath, Class Representative of Forensic Psychology and Criminal Justice had taken initiative to conduct the competition. Altogether, 37 students and 2 faculties (39) were present during the event.
