C.D. - Forum for Sustainable Development Events

The students working in the Ullal CMC and faculties from SSW had gathered together at the Vyyam Shalae in Sundari Bhag area, to perform a Street play regarding Zero Waste Management. Many community key persons like ex- councillor, adult leaders youth, chidren and women were present for the same. The students and all the youth members took a walk around the whole ward and invited the community members for the meeting. We, students then put up a street play for the gathering.

After our play the community members and the key persons, then students and faculties gathered together to have a discussion We proposed to them the effective methods of waste management and showed them the charts of the survey we had collected from the people of that area. We also demonstrated to them the different uses of cotton bags and its importance in this present situation. During discussion they planned to form a group to monitor and implement the project of Zero Waste Management and work along with students those who are working for them in their area.
