‘The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just on the body, but the soul’. – Alfred Austin

The Nature-Nurture club was established as an offshoot of the students’ project from the Department of Rural Development in which each herbal plant was adopted by a student and nurtured in the college herbal garden. The students’ project ‘Adopt, Nurture & Explore’ culminated in a booklet called ‘Herbs for healthy life’, a compilation of various herbal plants.

The Nature-Nurture club has Dr. Keshava Gowda U., as its staff advisor.
