School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, in collaboration with the Centre for Human Rights Education, University of Teacher Education, Lucerne, Switzerland will be introducing this course for people who wish to work in the field of Human Rights. Dr. Peter Kirchschlager will be the International Guest Faculty.
The course has "Train the trainer” component in it. Participants are introduced to various methodologies designed by Human Rights Educators all around the globe. By the end of the course, the participants will be in a position to design and implement their own education unit.
The diploma holders shall have an opportunity to become professionals who provide advisory and educational services, refugee assistance, victim’s rehabilitation, policy analysis for national and international institutions, assistance in institution building and project development and management in the field of human rights based civil society organizations.
Highlights of the Programme: Presence units, conference modules, study visits, post processing, private online study and final thesis.
Duration of the Programme: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm every Saturday (Starting from July 2015 to March 2016).
Eligibility for Admission: A Bachelor’s degree from any recognised University. Professionals such as teachers, Corporate HR and Administration staff, Health Professionals, NGO staff and Journalists holding a Bachelor’s degree may also apply.
