POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN COUNSELLING:(PGD COUNSELLING)
This course is an introduction to, and an exploration of, the basic principles and techniques of counselling. It is intended for students who are beginning their career in the helping profession. Major theoretical paradigms and practice models in counselling will be explored. Emphasis is on developing a personal eclectic model of bringing about change in a variety of clients in a variety of settings. Basic ethics of counselling and ethical dilemmas will be discussed. Need for research and practice evaluation shall be addressed.
Duration of the Program: From July till March of the following year.
